FAQ
No. Inlet Veterinary Care is a non-emergency, non-surgical practice. If your pet needs any of these services, we'll refer you to a full-service animal hospital:
For a pet emergency, go to the nearest emergency hospital.
We can meet you at the clinic or come to your home, where your pet is most comfortable. The veterinarian gives a sedative first so your pet is calm and relaxed, and you can stay as long as you'd like before and after. For aftercare, you can choose private cremation with ashes returned to you, or communal cremation. Cremation is handled by Mercy and Grace Cremation Services. We take care of transport. A paw-print or clay keepsake is included, and other keepsakes can be added.
Past medical and vaccine records, a list of current medications and food, and a fresh stool sample if you can. For clinic visits, dogs should be on a leash and cats in a carrier. For home visits, have your pet anywhere they're comfortable and accessible, and have any records ready to hand us.
Yes. Along with our Myrtle Beach clinic, we offer in-home visits for dogs and cats across Horry and Georgetown counties. Every service we provide at the clinic is also available in your home.
We're a veterinary clinic in Myrtle Beach, not a full-service animal hospital. We provide wellness, diagnostic and end-of-life care for dogs and cats at our clinic or in your home. For surgery and emergencies, we refer you to trusted full-service animal hospitals.
We see dogs and cats. For other kinds of pets, we're happy to refer you to a veterinarian who specializes in their care.
